The Mount Pleasant Hotel Brazelton has deep historic ties to the community. The first hotel built west of the Mississippi River was called the Brazleton and was built in Mount Pleasant. That hotel was built in 1856. Though the old Brazelton isn't a hotel any longer its great service is contined by the new Hotel Brazelton.
