Sewn from the same high quality suede-like material as the Pro Gymnastics shoe, the Elite is specially fitted for the female gymnast's foot. The entire top of the shoe is finished with elastic. Two narrow elastic bands are added for a smooth fit. The sole has two flexible rubber pads for positive traction. Why wear shoes? The cushioning provided by gymnastics shoes helps to prevent injuries due to the stress caused by repetitive impact on the feet and legs. These injuries include strains, sprains, Achilles Tendinitis and Osgood-Schlatter Syndrome. Gymnastics shoes are also an excellent way to promote good hygiene in the gym and avoid problems with foot viruses. Please Note: All shoe are Unisex sized.
